Banks seek associates with strong credit, technical and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial statements and work with financial models. At least five years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry is typically required, along with a bachelor’s degree in business or finance; an MBA and CFA are often strongly preferred. Candidates should have strong writing and presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with coworkers, handle multiple assignments at once and meet deadlines.
