<p><strong>Finance Manager</strong></p><p>Location: Normanton<br />Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 DOE<br /><br /></p><p>Robert Half Accountancy and Finance is recruiting for a Finance Manager on behalf of a thriving manufacturing business based in Normanton. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller , you will take full ownership of the finance function. In this hands-on role, you will oversee all day to day finance operations whilst managing a small team.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage the month-end process, including preparation and review of journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation/amortisation, and revenue recognition</li><li>Conduct P&L analysis and provide insightful commentary</li><li>Prepare and monitor weekly group cash flow reports</li><li>Perform balance sheet reconciliations and revenue adjustments</li><li>Maintain the fixed assets register and oversee forecasting and analysis</li><li>Monitor project costs and manage weekly payment runs</li><li>Reconcile multi-currency bank statements</li><li>Manage expenses and credit card transactions</li><li>Produce weekly management reports and prepare payroll</li><li>Drive best practices and efficiencies across the finance function </li><li>Oversee a small finance team, ensuring deadlines and accuracy are met.</li><li>Support the year-end audit process by compiling and organising required documentation</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>ACCA / CIMA qualified</li><li>Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager role - manufacturing experience advantageous </li><li>Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide clear financial insights</li><li>Strong leadership skills with experience overseeing a small team</li><li>Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of the finance function</li></ul><p><strong>What's on offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits package</li><li>Career development and progression opportunities.</li><li>Hybrid work model and flexible working hours</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
