They help businesses reward &amp; retain customers through various campaigns utilising their intuitive platform.</p><p>Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance department.</p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><p>Reporting into the Finance Director, the Accounts Assistant will take on a broad position covering the Accounts Payable/Receivable and reconciliations activity across the team.</p><p>Key duties include:</p><ul><li>Daily bank reconciliations, and ownership in accounts payable &amp; receivable</li><li>Production, posting and distribution of client invoices</li><li>Maintenance of debtor ledger and production of client statements</li><li>Following up with clients on overdue invoices</li><li>Posting of supplier invoices</li><li>Reconciling supplier statements</li><li>Processing and review of staff expenses and company cards,</li><li>Preparation of BACS run</li><li>Support the Management Accountant with month end processes, including bank reconciliations, VAT, journals and balance sheet reconciliations</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>The ideal profile for this Accounts Assistant position, should have the following:</p><ul><li>2-3+ years of experience within a similar Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant capacity</li><li>Strong proficiency owning payable and receivable processes, as well as reconciliations</li><li>Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to tight deadlines</li><li>High levels of proficiency in Excel</li><li>Familiarity with Xero accounting software</li><li>Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Early stage studier (ideally AAT or equivalent)</li></ul><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits</strong></p><p>£33,000 - £36,000 + additional benefits including:</p><ul><li>Hybrid working structure</li><li>Discretionary bonus</li><li>Study support package</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Regular company socials &amp; more</li></ul><p>The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training. </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
