<p>Robert Half is recruiting for a commercially minded Senior Finance Analyst to join a dynamic finance team based in Bridgwater. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a salary of £55,000 - £60,000, with an expectation to work on-site 3 days per week. In this position, you will work closely with senior finance leaders, delivering insightful financial analysis and providing clear, practical advice to key stakeholders. As a Senior Finance Analyst, your expertise will help guide informed financial decisions that support business objectives.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide detailed budget reviews, forecasts, and performance analysis to support senior management.</li><li>Challenge financial assumptions, identify risks, and uncover opportunities to improve value for money.</li><li>Drive cost efficiency initiatives and ensure financial plans are achievable and effective.</li><li>Support cash flow forecasting and assist with audit processes as needed.</li><li>Coach and mentor teams on best financial practices to strengthen financial governance.</li><li>Step in as deputy to senior finance management when required to maintain continuity.</li></ul><p><strong>About You:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a Senior Finance Analyst or in a similar finance business partnering role.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to present complex financial information clearly and confidently.</li><li>Strong analytical ability with attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a customer-oriented mindset.</li><li>Understanding of external market factors affecting financial strategy.</li><li>Part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA) preferred.</li><li>Experience with financial software such as SAP, Anaplan, PowerBI, or similar is beneficial.</li><li>Committed to continuous improvement and leading by example.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
