This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) and can be based in Bristol or Glasgow.The RoleThe Investment Analyst will support a large-scale, long-term low-carbon infrastructure project, providing financial insight to inform commercial and strategic decision-making.Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Ownership and ongoing maintenance of a complex investment case financial model</li><li>Producing financial analysis and reporting to support investment, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements</li><li>Working closely with finance, supply chain, and project controls teams to ensure accurate cost and performance data</li><li>Maintaining and updating key financial assumptions, including inflation and foreign exchange</li><li>Supporting post-financial close activities, including equity and shareholder-related analysis</li></ul>The Candidate<ul><li>Background in either accounting or financial analysis</li><li>Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) or equivalent analytical experience</li><li>Strong financial modelling capability with advanced Excel skills</li><li>Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams</li><li>Eligible for UK security vetting (typically UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years)</li></ul>Package & Benefits<ul><li>Salary: £54,000 - £62,000</li><li>5% bonus</li><li>28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays</li><li>Up to 15% employer pension contribution</li><li>Hybrid working with long-term flexibility</li></ul> Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
