Business situation
An international manufacturing company approached Robert Half to provide recruitment support as they established a new UK Shared Service Centre. Requirements included 16 roles at all levels and across the full range of finance functions, from clerical and transactional roles to managerial positions and SSC Manager.
Our approach
Drawing on our existing relationship dating back 15 years, Robert Half was appointed as the exclusive provider for permanent finance hiring during this project.
We worked closely with our client to provide full-service support, confirming the requirements of each role as we recruited their new team. We spoke with them regularly to ensure the candidates we provided were well-placed to form a cohesive team.
Following candidate sourcing and initial screening by us, we conducted multiple hosted interview sessions at our offices. This approach allowed the client to utilise our office space and focus on assessing the carefully-matched candidates we selected for them, while we took care of all scheduling and administrative details.
Value delivered
During hosted interview sessions at our office, we provided fully briefed candidates, scheduled interview sessions, candidate introductions and CVs, and refreshments to ensure a pleasant interview experience for all parties.
We de-briefed each candidate, discussed feedback with the hiring managers and scheduled next steps as the final stage of the hosted interview day.
Across the four months of this project we filled 16 SSC roles ranging from Data Entry Clerk and Accounts Payable Officer to Financial Accounting Team Leader, Treasury Analyst, Management Accountant and Financial Controller.
We provided full support to recruit the whole finance SSC team and continued to support the client with their ongoing hiring needs.
