<p>We are looking for a dedicated and personable receptionist to join our team on a 1 day contract in Vancouver, British Columbia. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our downtown office. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Greet guests and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.</p><p>• Manage incoming calls efficiently, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.</p><p>• Assist visitors with inquiries and provide guidance as needed.</p><p>• Coordinate outgoing mail and packages, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.</p><p>• Maintain a tidy and organized reception area to reflect the professionalism of the organization.</p><p>• Support various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments or preparing documents.</p><p>• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication across departments.</p><p>• Act as a resource for staff and visitors by providing accurate information and assistance.</p><p>• Learn and adapt to the company’s systems and processes to perform daily duties effectively.</p><p>• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.</p>
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.<br>• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a positive and detail-oriented demeanor.<br>• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.<br>• Proficiency in handling inbound calls and directing inquiries.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Comfortable working onsite in a downtown office setting.<br>• Service-oriented mindset with a focus on supporting colleagues and visitors.<br>• Willingness to transition into a permanent role, if the opportunity arises.
