In this role, you will oversee and manage the accreditation process for our long-term care home, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and provincial regulations. By collaborating with leadership, staff, residents, and families, you will play a vital role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in resident care.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and execute a comprehensive accreditation work plan and timeline.<br>• Act as the primary liaison with accreditation organizations and other external stakeholders.<br>• Coordinate self-assessments, evidence submissions, and Required Safety Practices (RSPs) for accreditation readiness.<br>• Ensure policies, procedures, and practices align with current accreditation standards and regulations.<br>• Collect, organize, and maintain documentation and evidence required for accreditation surveys.<br>• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for leadership teams, councils, and the Board.<br>• Support various departments in implementing quality improvement methodologies and tracking progress on key indicators.<br>• Engage staff, residents, families, and councils in accreditation activities through education and communication.<br>• Coordinate logistics for on-site surveys, including scheduling, interviews, and documentation access.<br>• Facilitate post-survey follow-ups by monitoring progress and embedding recommendations into ongoing policies and training.
