This is an opportunity where the contract can be extended or converted into a permanent full-time role.</p><p><br></p><p>Reporting to the CFO and Controller your responsibilities will include:</p><p><br></p><p>• Complete all time-sensitive deliverables accurately, including draw processing, deposit collections, and sales reconciliations.</p><p>• Conduct bank reconciliations on a timely basis and ensure the closure of each period efficiently.</p><p>• Record GST and Utilities refund cheques and assist with filing GST and Empty Homes Tax.</p><p>• Assist in the preparation of monthly project updates and reports on project budgets, tracking and reporting on budget variances.</p><p>• Liaise with the development team, vendors, and other staff as required.</p><p>• Liaise with Project QS & lenders to provide project cost information and review draft reports.</p><p>• Prepare monthly working papers.</p><p>• Ensure invoice amounts are within contract values.</p><p>• Process Journal Entries as required.</p><p>• Reach out to lenders for BA/CDOR rates and assist with registering HPO and Travelers.</p><p>• Enter statements of adjustments on closings and general contractor invoices.</p><p>• Ensure all invoices are properly coded, and development fees are accurately calculated and paid promptly.</p><p>• Process cheques and EFT payments to vendors.</p><p>• Assist with preparation of ad hoc reports, special projects, responsibilities, and other duties as assigned by the Manager.</p><p>• Assist with the year-end audit.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
