Reporting to the Senior Manager, Payroll, Benefits and Wellness, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and processing the full-cycle payroll process in accordance with established company practices and procedures for approximately 600 employees across Canada, including Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia. In addition, this role will be responsible for completing all reconciliations and remittances related to the year-end cycle.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Administer bi-weekly Canadian payroll (salary & hourly) for multiple provinces</li><li>Ensure accurate processing of hires, changes, terminations, bonuses, special payments, and payroll reports</li><li>Manage investments and retirement savings program contributions</li><li>Reconcile and file all payroll/benefits remittances (EHT, WCB, T4s, T4A, Relevé 1, T2200s, etc.)</li><li>Support year-end payroll filings, reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting</li><li>Contribute to projects and special initiatives as needed</li></ul>
