If you’re looking for a role with variety, impact, and room to grow, this could be an excellent next step.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><u>What You’ll Do</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p> In this role, you’ll support the accuracy and integrity of our financial data by managing day-to-day cash application and AR tasks, while helping improve processes across the department.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><u>Core Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p> </p><ul><li> Record daily incoming payments (cheques, EFTs, credit cards, e-transfers, etc.) to maintain accurate AR balances</li><li> Troubleshoot and resolve payment discrepancies, including completing account reconciliations</li><li>Process electronic transfers, refunds, and credit card transactions</li><li>Correct posting errors and apply deposits or prepayments appropriately</li><li>Prepare daily deposit summaries for internal review</li><li>Monitor shared AR inboxes and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner</li><li>Complete vendor onboarding documentation and direct deposit setup forms</li><li>Prepare monthly aging reports for key accounts and maintain updated notes</li><li>Partner with the AR/Cash Application team and leadership to refine workflows and recommend process improvements</li><li>Provide backup support to teammates when needed</li><li>Assist with other accounting tasks or special projects as assigned</li></ul>
<p>In this Intermediate Business Analyst role, you will be coordinating the requirements gathering, rollout and implementation of ERP software solutions for various public-sector customers across Canada.</p><p><br></p><p>This company has staff based in British Columbia and Alberta, and you’ll be able to work remotely from your home office. And you may occasionally visit their offices in either Vancouver or Edmonton, or Canadian customers in other provinces, from time-to-time (e.g. a few times per year max).</p><p><br></p><p>The role will focus on working with clients to understand and document their needs and then make technical recommendations on realizing the ERP software and IT solutions. <p>This is an opportunity to apply your software development skills, and join a fast-growing industrial company in downtown Vancouver. In this role, you’ll be developing solutions, and integrating several off-the-shelf, back-office software applications, with a focus on NetSuite. Your job will be to understand the business workflows, and then to program the software solutions according to the needs of the business. You will be embedded in the office so you can learn the various workflows, and you’ll be working alongside several other members of the technology team. </p><p><br></p><p>This role will work in the company’s downtown office, which is located close to Burrard Station. The office is bright and modern, and you’ll work closely with your various technical and non-technical colleagues. </p><p>The back-office systems are related to finance, HR and administration.
