In this role, you will support high-volume financial operations by handling transaction activity, reviewing payment details, and maintaining accurate records across daily workflows. This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys working with payments, reconciliations, and process-driven tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and control. Responsibilities: • Process a steady volume of daily financial transactions, typically managing between 30 and 50 items each day with accuracy and efficiency. • Administer weekly cheque disbursement activities, including preparing and completing scheduled cheque runs on Thursdays. • Review wire transfers, payment instructions, and fund movement requests to confirm details are accurate before release through the appropriate processing stages. • Perform account balancing activities, track unresolved items, and follow up on discrepancies to support timely resolution. • Research payment exceptions, investigate operational issues, and respond to inquiries related to transaction activity. • Prepare reports, transaction summaries, and supporting records to assist with operational tracking and documentation requirements. • Contribute to month-end operational tasks and provide administrative support for finance-related processes. • Follow established controls, procedures, and compliance standards while supporting audit requests, risk-related activities, and ongoing process improvements. • Work closely with internal teams, service providers, and external contacts to resolve processing issues and maintain smooth operational flow.
