<p>Our client is seeking for a skilled Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their team on contract basis in Edmonton, Alberta. This role supports the development and delivery of employee wellness initiatives while working closely with a collaborative HR team. The ideal candidate is a strong HR professional with experience in occupational health and safety, proven leadership abilities, and a solid background in HR administration, capable of driving initiatives and supporting organizational goals.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead employee wellness programs and engagement initiatives.</li><li>Supervise and support HR team members.</li><li>Manage return-to-work programs and ensure OHS compliance.</li><li>Communicate updates through newsletters and engagement activities.</li><li>Advise senior leadership on HR and union-related matters.</li><li>Support and execute wellness projects.</li><li>Improve HR processes and workflows.</li><li>Assist with board documentation and reporting.</li><li>Use HR systems (ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian) for payroll and benefits.</li><li>Ensure compliance with WCB and relevant regulations.</li></ul>
