This is your chance to move beyond the basics—a hands-on role with direct exposure to inventory and manufacturing accounting, cross-border transactions, and a behind-the-scenes look at how the business operates daily.</p><p><br></p><p>Here is what you get to do:</p><p><br></p><p>Core Accounting & Close</p><ul><li>Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger accuracy</li><li>Support month-end/year-end closing (including reconciliations/variance analysis)</li><li>Assist with financial reporting schedules and audit preparation</li><li>Post and reconcile banking activities daily</li></ul><p>Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting</p><ul><li>Support inventory functions (receipts, adjustments, cycle counts, WIP, COGS)</li><li>Collaborate with operations/supply chain to map inventory/production flows</li><li>Assist with inventory analysis, reconciliation, and control improvements</li></ul><p>Accounts Payable & Payments</p><ul><li>Review, code, and process AP invoices promptly</li><li>Support payment processing (EFT, ACH, wire, cheque) with adherence to internal controls</li><li>Aid in vendor statement review, issue resolution, and inquiry handling</li><li>Contribute to enhanced AP workflows and documentation</li></ul><p>Cross-Border & Systems Exposure</p><ul><li>Assist with accounting for Canada/US cross-border transactions, including intercompany and FX</li><li>Participate in ERP/systems implementation (process mapping, testing, data validation)</li><li>Propose process improvements in efficiency and internal controls</li></ul><p><br></p>
