- <p>Our client, a well-established distributor serving the commercial construction sector, is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join their team.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a diverse, relationship-focused role that combines customer support, inside sales, purchasing coordination, and inventory management responsibilities. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers while supporting product sourcing, quotations, order management, and sales opportunity development.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate will bring experience from construction products, industrial distribution, building materials, mechanical products, plumbing products, or a related sector and thrive in a fast-paced environment where initiative, organization, and follow-through are highly valued.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional sales support.</p><p>• Prepare quotations and coordinate product pricing, availability, and specifications.</p><p>• Identify opportunities to develop customer inquiries into additional sales opportunities.</p><p>• Liaise with outside sales representatives to advance projects and customer opportunities.</p><p>• Coordinate purchasing activities and supplier communications across a large SKU-based product portfolio.</p><p>• Support inventory planning and replenishment activities.</p><p>• Ensure order accuracy and maintain high service standards.</p><p>• Maintain accurate information within inventory, quoting, and customer management systems.</p><p>• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
