Responsibilities: • Source and assess vendors by reviewing cost structures, product quality, production capacity, service dependability, delivery timelines, and distribution capabilities. • Prepare quotation comparisons, present purchasing recommendations for internal approval, and manage supplier information such as pricing, terms, specifications, and performance history. • Issue and monitor purchase orders while working with vendors, finance, and internal teams to address shortages, substitutions, delayed shipments, and billing discrepancies. • Support campus ordering operations by managing vendor portal setup, maintaining approved product listings, and clarifying ordering processes, access, and pricing structures. • Determine the most effective fulfillment route for products, including direct-to-campus delivery, central stocking, or internal assembly requirements. • Track service performance across vendor-direct and head office distribution channels, resolve order exceptions, and provide timely updates to stakeholders. • Coordinate domestic and international shipping activities by reviewing carrier options, arranging transportation, and supporting customs and import documentation when required. • Develop inventory plans using usage trends, seasonal demand, lead times, and organizational growth, while maintaining reorder levels, safety stock, and replenishment strategies. • Maintain accurate purchasing, catalogue, and inventory records in Business Central and related systems, conduct cycle count follow-up, and investigate stock variances or excess inventory. • Improve supply chain procedures by documenting workflows, supporting system updates, assisting with warehouse tasks during peak periods, and promoting a safe, orderly work environment.
