<p>This is not a typical corporate desk role. We need someone who will partner with operations, understands job costing, payroll, WIP, and construction-style billing — and can operate independently.</p><p> </p><p>You will oversee full-cycle accounting, monthly reporting, compliance (HST, CRA, WSIB, EHT), and help modernize our processes toward a more digital, paperless system.</p><p> </p><p>We are practical. If you understand fabrication margins, labour tracking, and project-based accounting — we want to talk.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p> </p><p>·      Full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, payroll oversight)</p><p>·      Progress billings, change orders & holdbacks</p><p>·      Job costing and WIP tracking</p><p>·      Monthly financial reporting to ownership</p><p>·      HST, CRA, WSIB, EHT compliance</p><p>·      Cash flow monitoring and margin protection</p>

<p><strong>Essential skills & experience</strong></p><p> </p><p>·      CPA or working towards one</p><p>·      Experience working in a manufacturing or construction business</p><p>·      Strong knowledge of job costing and WIP billing</p><p>·      Experience with AP, AR and payroll</p><p>·      Familiar with payroll process for field workers under iron workers union or similar</p><p>·      Familiarity with STAT decks, change orders, etc.</p><p>·      Proficient in Excel: ability to manipulate large datasets, use advanced formulas, and create dynamic, error-free, and visually clear reports</p><p>·      Proficient in ADP, QuickBooks, Dext accounting systems is also a bonus</p>
