The successful candidate will bring strong analytical abilities, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage a variety of legal files with appropriate supervision</li><li>Conduct legal research and prepare written legal opinions, correspondence, and other documentation</li><li>Draft, review, and revise legal agreements and related materials</li><li>Represent clients in negotiations, meetings, and proceedings, as applicable</li><li>Provide timely, practical, and business-minded legal advice</li><li>Maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and professional communication</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance client matters efficiently</li><li>Stay informed of relevant legislative, regulatory, and industry developments</li><li>Contribute to team initiatives, knowledge sharing, and continuous process improvement</li></ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) from an accredited institution</li><li>Membership in good standing with the applicable provincial law society</li><li>Prior experience in a legal practice setting as an Associate or in a similar role</li><li>Strong drafting, research, negotiation, and advocacy skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and client service skills</li><li>High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical judgment</li><li>Proficiency with legal research tools and standard office software</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in one or more practice areas relevant to the hiring firm</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management abilities</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively</li><li>Commitment to delivering high-quality, detail-oriented work</li></ul><p><br></p>
