Payroll Administrator
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Vancouver, British Columbia. In this role, you will oversee and manage payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in payroll systems and contribute to the efficiency of our financial processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule using established systems and protocols.<br>• Maintain up-to-date records of payroll transactions, including deductions, benefits, and other adjustments.<br>• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll regulations and tax requirements.<br>• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address and resolve payroll-related inquiries.<br>• Utilize payroll software such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to manage payment processing.<br>• Generate detailed payroll reports using tools like Crystal Reports for internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Administer benefits and ensure appropriate deductions are applied to payroll.<br>• Support the implementation and optimization of payroll systems and procedures.<br>• Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and identify discrepancies.<br>• Stay informed on changes to payroll-related legislation and update processes accordingly.
• Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.<br>• Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian.<br>• Familiarity with accounting systems and financial reporting tools, including Crystal Reports.<br>• Strong understanding of payroll functions, benefit administration, and payment processing.<br>• Knowledge of federal and provincial payroll regulations and tax laws.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
