We are looking for a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team on a contract basis in Vancouver, British Columbia. In this role, you will support the healthcare sector by ensuring accurate record-keeping, conducting audits, and maintaining financial accountability. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with large datasets and contribute to essential community clinical services. Responsibilities: • Perform audits of clinical services provided within the community to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Reconcile invoices and verify financial transactions against documented records. • Maintain checks and balances to uphold financial integrity across all processes. • Document each step of the auditing process to ensure transparency and accountability. • Analyze large volumes of data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy. • Utilize Excel and other tools from the Office Suite to organize and review financial information. • Collaborate with team members to address audit findings and implement corrective actions. • Ensure adherence to audit plans and regulatory standards in daily operations. • Provide insights and recommendations based on detailed analysis of financial systems. • Assist with understanding and navigating reconciliations and invoice structures.

• Previous experience in either external or internal financial audit• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in financial data.• Familiarity with invoices and reconciliation processes.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.• Comfortable working with numbers and large datasets.• Basic knowledge of audit programs and accounting functions.• Ability to use accounting software systems effectively.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex financial data.
