<p>The Senior D365 Finance Functional Advisor will play a key role in supporting and optimizing a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations environment, with an immediate focus on system stabilization, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.</p><p>This is a hands-on functional role requiring deep expertise in D365 Finance, including configuration, solution design, business process optimization and issue resolution. Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and external partners, the successful candidate will provide functional leadership, guide solution decisions and ensure the platform supports business and operational requirements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Work directly with D365 Finance teams to troubleshoot system issues, resolve functional challenges and support ongoing stabilization.</li><li>Lead functional design, configuration and optimization across core D365 Finance modules and business processes.</li><li>Analyze existing workflows and translate business requirements into practical, scalable D365 solutions.</li><li>Provide functional guidance and direction to developers, business analysts, technical teams and external implementation partners.</li><li>Lead workshops with Finance, Accounting, Commercial and Operations stakeholders to assess requirements and recommend solutions.</li><li>Review proposed configurations, enhancements and customizations, ensuring alignment with D365 functionality and best practices.</li><li>Support financial and operational processes, including order-to-cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets and financial reporting.</li><li>Participate in integration, data migration and master data discussions, working alongside technical specialists and subject matter experts.</li><li>Provide leadership and oversight across functional workstreams, supporting project priorities, governance and overall solution delivery.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve business processes, system performance and the overall user experience.</li></ul>

<ul><li>10+ years of relevant business and ERP experience.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations implementation experience.</li><li>Deep functional expertise in D365 Finance, including configuration, solution design, troubleshooting and issue resolution.</li><li>Strong understanding of core financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management, budgeting and financial reporting.</li><li>Experience supporting D365 implementations, post-go-live stabilization and ongoing system enhancements.</li><li>Strong understanding of business process reengineering and the ability to translate operational requirements into functional solutions.</li><li>Experience with D365 integrations, data migration and master data management is an asset.</li><li>Exposure to D365 Supply Chain, Commerce, Warehousing or Manufacturing modules is considered an asset.</li><li>Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric and Application Insights is beneficial.</li><li>Experience with finance-related integrations or ISVs such as Avalara and Kyriba is an asset.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.</li><li>Ability to provide functional leadership while remaining hands-on in the system.</li></ul><p><br></p>
