Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst
<p>Our client is seeking an experienced Help Desk/Desktop Support to join a high-performing team in Ottawa. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for a strategic leader with a strong track record in overseeing software initiatives, driving innovation, and delivering successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Agile transformation, project management, and technical team leadership.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>-Provide first‑level technical support to users via phone, email, and in person.</p><p>-Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.</p><p>-Install and configure computers, peripherals, and standard applications.</p><p>-Manage user accounts and access (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365).</p><p>-Document support tickets and escalate issues when needed.</p><p>-Assist with device setups, updates, and software deployments.</p><p>-Support remote users using remote access tools.</p><p>-Maintain IT equipment and follow security and IT policies.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><p>-Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Some lifting or moving of equipment up to 40 lbs may be required. In-office work at our Ottawa office is required, and occasional travel may be required.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>-Post‑secondary education in a technical field, plus 1 year of IT experience <strong>or</strong> equivalent training with 3 years of IT experience.</p><p>-Experience providing guidance on technology tools and processes.</p><p>-Hands-on experience implementing and administering IT systems and tools.</p><p>-Strong background in user support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.</p><p>-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p>-Creative problem‑solver with strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.</p><p>-Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.</p><p>-Maintains confidentiality with integrity.</p><p>-Team‑oriented with advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Azure, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Dynamics, AutoPilot, InTune, Active Directory).</p><p>-Experience with SAGE, Voxco, SAS, or SPSS is an asset.</p><p>-Able to lift 11–40 lbs and set up computer equipment.</p><p>-Skilled in software installation and troubleshooting applications, servers, hardware, and databases.</p><p>-Flexible availability when required.</p><p>-Experience working with First Nations communities and/or lived experience is an asset.</p><p><br></p><p>If this position interests you, please apply online today! </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Reference Number: </strong>0013373483</p>
