Facilities Coordinator
<p>Our client is looking for a proactive Facilities Coordinator to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the functionality and operational efficiency of our office environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic atmosphere and has a strong attention to detail.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Manage front desk operations, including badge activation and deactivation, and addressing facility-related issues such as broken fixtures.</p><p>• Coordinate service requests and ensure timely resolution of maintenance needs.</p><p>• Organize and oversee office meals and snacks, including preparation of coffee and setting up lunches.</p><p>• Maintain cleanliness by emptying trash bins and ensuring the office is tidy and well-stocked.</p><p>• Support meetings by preparing conference rooms and assisting with any required setups.</p><p>• Track and manage e-waste disposal processes effectively.</p><p>• Utilize spreadsheets and data management tools to maintain accurate records and reports.</p><p>• Communicate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operations.</p><p>• Monitor and manage budgets related to facilities and office supplies.</p><p>• Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, ensuring their needs are met promptly.</p>
