Supply Chain Supervisor
<p>Our valued client is seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented <strong>Supply Chain Supervisor</strong> to oversee all supply chain functions within their organization. This is a <strong>critical and dynamic role</strong> that plays a key part in ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and alignment between production, inventory, and demand. Reporting directly to the <strong>Corporate Controller</strong>, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with multiple departments and lead essential supply chain initiatives across the business.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement <strong>supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures</strong> to improve efficiency and reduce costs.</li><li>Manage and strengthen <strong>supplier relationships</strong>, including contract negotiation.</li><li>Oversee all <strong>logistics operations</strong>, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.</li><li>Analyze key supply chain metrics—such as <strong>inventory turnover, lead times, and consumption patterns</strong>—and implement corrective actions where needed.</li><li>Lead <strong>production scheduling</strong>, coordinating sales forecasts, production capacity, and raw material requirements.</li><li>Maintain optimal <strong>inventory levels</strong> to meet both production requirements and customer demand.</li><li>Collaborate with cross‑functional managers to ensure all critical duties are completed to support supplier and customer commitments.</li><li>Lead and oversee <strong>cycle inventory counts</strong>.</li><li>Reconcile inventory count variances and maintain strong knowledge of the production process.</li></ul><p>This is full-time, permanent, in office role based in NW Edmonton. <ul><li><strong>5+ years of experience</strong> in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience is an asset.</li><li>Proven experience leading <strong>supply chain functions</strong> within a manufacturing facility.</li><li>Experience with <strong>production planning or scheduling</strong>.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills with the ability to represent the company effectively.</li><li>Experience with <strong>ERP systems</strong>; <strong>Microsoft Dynamics</strong> considered an asset.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.</li><li>Proficiency with <strong>Microsoft Office</strong>, including strong Excel capabilities.</li></ul>
