<p>Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive <strong>Intermediate Accountant</strong> to join their team on contract basis in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will play a key role in day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close, with a strong emphasis on working within an ERP system. </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.</li><li>Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.</li><li>Perform general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.</li><li>Assist with financial reporting and analysis.</li><li>Work within the ERP system to ensure accurate financial data.</li><li>Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements.</li></ul>
