Your OpportunityWe're partnering with a well-established and innovative business based in Brisbane's western suburbs, offering on-site parking. With headquarters in Brisbane and a growing global footprint, they combine commercial operations with a unique, science-driven environment.You'll join a close-knit finance team and report directly to an experienced CFO, with support from a highly capable Financial Controller. You will provide immediate support across a broad range of finance activities. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of key accounting processes while supporting wider finance operations during a busy period.This is a 3-month contract with an immediate start.About the RoleYou can expect to be hands-on with:<ul><li>Day-to-day accounting, including reconciliations, journals, and payments</li><li>Month-end close, cash flow forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations</li><li>Business reporting and expenditure analysis</li><li>BAS, PAYG, super, payroll tax, and annual tax returns</li><li>Payroll processing and system maintenance</li><li>Statutory reporting and audit support</li><li>Fixed assets, WIP, inventory, and equity reporting</li><li>AP/AR support and compliance management</li><li>Process improvements, controls, and ad hoc finance support</li></ul>Who You AreYou're a technically strong and adaptable Senior Financial Accountant who's happy to roll up your sleeves. Your Opportunity: You will report directly to a high-calibre CFO and partner closely with a strong Financial Controller as you take on a broad, hands-on position.Finance is a highly visible part of the business, and you will see firsthand how decisions are made at a senior level as well as gaining a proper understanding of how the business operates.The business itself is scaling globally, working with well-known, blue-chip clients and continuing to expand across North America, the UK, Europe and SE Asia. It's a unique environment with a lot going on and plenty of moving parts.Hours are generally 8am to 4.30pm with some flexibility around start / finish and there is parking on-site.The RoleThis is a broad, hands-on role.
