This role will be responsible for designing and implementing core finance processes including financial and management reporting, month-end close, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, tax and compliance obligations (BAS, FBT, payroll tax), and internal controls.</p><p>A major component of the role will be overseeing the selection, configuration, and implementation of a cloud-based ERP system, including integration with operational systems and setting up a chart of accounts, workflows, approval hierarchies, and reporting dashboards. The successful candidate will also be tasked with recruiting, onboarding, and developing a high-performing finance team, defining team structure, roles, and responsibilities, and embedding best-practice governance and financial controls suitable for a scaling, founder-led environment.</p><p>Strong stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as the role will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership to support commercial decision-making.
