Senior Business Analyst - Data, Reporting & SystemsContract: Initial 1-month contract Rate: $800-$900 per day Location: Brisbane Southside Working style: Predominantly onsite Start: ASAPWe are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst - Data for an initial short-term contract with a purpose-led organisation delivering government-funded community and health-related services.This engagement will focus on reviewing the current data, systems and reporting environment, with a particular focus on mandatory reporting obligations, client information management, system usage, integration requirements and future-state data needs.The successful contractor will work with key stakeholders to understand how data is currently collected, managed and reported across several systems, before documenting the current state and providing clear requirements to support future system, reporting and migration decisions.Key responsibilities:<ul><li>Work with business stakeholders to understand how data is currently collected, managed and reported across multiple systems.</li><li>Review the current reporting landscape and identify which external systems, datasets and reporting processes are mandatory.</li><li>Assess which systems and processes are currently being used by the business but may not be required in a future solution.</li><li>Document how client, service and operational data flows between internal systems and external reporting platforms.</li><li>Review mandatory reporting requirements and help ensure future data processes align with required specifications.</li><li>Capture current-state processes across service administration, client management, reporting and data handling.</li><li>Identify gaps in the current environment, including missing documentation, manual workarounds and unmet business needs.</li><li>Gather high-level functional requirements to support future client management, administration and reporting processes.</li><li>Define data export, integration and transmission requirements for required reporting collections.</li><li>Support early-stage migration planning from a legacy case/client management platform, including data format, volume and specification considerations.</li><li>Facilitate workshops and discussions with operational, reporting and technical stakeholders.</li><li>Produce practical documentation and recommendations to support future system, reporting, integration and migration decisions.</li></ul>About you:<ul><li>Senior Business Analyst experience with a strong data, systems and reporting focus.</li><li>Experience analysing data collection, reporting processes, system workflows and functional requirements.</li><li>Strong understanding of data mapping, data migration, integrations, extracts and reporting specifications.</li><li>Proven ability to work in environments with limited documentation and bring structure to ambiguous requirements.</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and documentation skills.</li><li>Ability to translate operational, reporting and data needs into clear and practical requirements.</li><li>Experience working across healthcare, community services, not-for-profit, government-funded programs or regulated reporting environments would be highly regarded.</li></ul>Highly regarded:<ul><li>Experience with client management, case management, CRM or service delivery platforms.</li><li>Exposure to mandatory reporting, minimum dataset reporting, survey reporting or performance reporting frameworks.</li><li>Previous experience supporting system replacement, data migration, reporting uplift or future-state solution design.</li></ul>This role would suit a hands-on Senior BA who is comfortable leading discovery, documenting complex data and reporting environments, and supporting an organisation with future-state system, reporting and migration decisions.By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities. Technical Business Analyst - Salesforce Support & CPQ 4-month contract | August start | $700-$800 per day + super Brisbane or Melbourne | Hybrid workingOur client is a market-leading international organisation with complex operations, a broad customer base and an ongoing focus on technology improvement.They are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to join their applications team on a four-month contract, providing paternity leave cover.This is a hands-on functional role focused on Salesforce support, user story validation, testing and change delivery across the APAC business.
