This position will define and embed integration standards, patterns, and best practices across a large, multi-squad environment, helping shape how integration is delivered across the organisation.<br /> <br /> You will contribute to the end-to-end delivery of integration solutions - from requirements analysis and design through to implementation and ongoing optimisation. You will also play a key role in improving integration frameworks, governance, and best practices across the organisation.<br /> <br /> This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you can influence the future integration landscape, work on meaningful projects, and contribute to both operational efficiency and strategic growth initiatives.<br /> <br /> Responsibilities:<br /> </p><ul><li>Assess legacy and modern systems to define and deliver a future-proof integration strategy</li><li>Design, build, and maintain APIs and system integrations across cloud and on-premise environments</li><li>Establish and embed integration standards, patterns, tooling, and governance across the organisation</li><li>Work across multiple delivery squads to ensure consistent integration practices</li><li>Act as a hands-on technical lead, contributing directly to development and solution delivery</li><li>Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system failures</li><li>Define and promote best practices for API-led and event-driven architectures</li><li>Provide technical leadership, including guidance, design input, and constructive challenge to engineering decisions</li><li>Maintain clear and accurate documentation across APIs, data models, and integration workflows</li><li>Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery</li></ul><p>Requirements<br /> </p><ul><li>8+ years' experience in integration / full-stack development</li><li>Strong .NET experience (C#, .NET Core 6+ and .NET Framework)</li><li>Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure DevOps</li><li>Proven experience building APIs and integrating enterprise systems (including ERP platforms)</li><li>Strong SQL Server / T-SQL and backend data experience</li><li>Experience working in complex legacy or brownfield environments</li><li>Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps</li><li>Experience with messaging and event-driven systems (e.g. Azure Service Bus)</li><li>Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills</li></ul><p>Desirable<br /> </p><ul><li>Exposure to web and application development</li><li>Experience integrating with Salesforce APIs and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations</li><li>Front-end or client-side development experience (JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery)</li><li>Experience with React.js or Next.js</li><li>Mobile development experience using .NET MAUI</li></ul><p><strong>Apply Today</strong><br /> <br /> Learn more about our Brisbane recruitment services: <a href="https://www.roberthalf.com.au/brisbane">https://www.roberthalf.com.au/brisbane</a><br /> </p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
