This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial/Financial accountant during a transitional period. This position will commence immediately on a 4 month contract basis.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>The Position</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>As a commercial/financial accountant, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: <br /> </p><p>· Prepare accurate monthly accounts, including P&amp;Ls and reconciliations</p><p>· Analyse performance, costs, and supplier movements to provide insights</p><p>· Drive process improvements and streamline processes and strengthen financial controls</p><p>· Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking</p><p>· Partner with operational teams, providing financial advice and insights</p><p>· Ad hoc requests from the leadership team</p><p>· Ensure compliance with reporting, tax, and financial obligations</p><p> </p><p><strong>About You </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>To thrive within this position, you will have demonstrated experience within:</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>· CPA/CA Qualified</p><p>· Financial Accounting - Commercial accounting experience</p><p>· 5+ years' commercial finance experience, ideally in fast paced environment (hospitality-retail-pharma-FMCG)</p><p>· Skilled in managing inventory</p><p>· Experience with budgeting, reporting, and compliance</p><p>· Great communicator who builds strong relationships</p><p>· Proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to learn</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>This is a </strong>hybrid OR remote OR <strong>on-site</strong> <strong>position.</strong></p></td></tr></tbody></table><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
