This position requires a strategic mindset, strong financial expertise, and effective management skills to ensure the smooth running of the family's Australian operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background and extensive experience in business services. This role reports directly to the family's Family Office located in the United States.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the Australian operations</li><li>Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs</li><li>Coordinate closely with the US Family Office to provide integrated management of the family's affairs</li><li>Clearly communicate financial data and updates to family members</li><li>Support the daily administration of the family's personal matters</li><li>Serve as the primary contact for family members on all financial and operational issues</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have Family Office experience</li><li>Degree in Business, Commerce, or Accounting</li><li>Completed CA or CPA certification</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in finance, operations, or a related field, preferably in a family office or wealth management environment</li><li>Strong expertise in month-end accounting</li><li>Experience with GST, FBT, and payroll tax return preparation</li><li>Background in agriculture or real estate operations is advantageous</li><li>Proficiency with popular accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Xero</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and tax compliance, including financial statements, tax reconciliations, income tax returns, and tax effect accounting for companies, trusts, and consolidated groups</li><li>Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion</li></ul><p> </p></td></tr></tbody></table><p><br /> </p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
