This firm has seen exponential growth over the last 2 years and with backing from the board have committed to double the headcount of software engineers in the team.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>As a Senior Engineer, you will use your expertise to design, develop, and deploy new features using .NET, Angular, TypeScript, SQL Server, and Azure. You will lead exciting platform upgrades such as migrating to Azure, deploying with Bicep, optimizing DevOps pipelines, and modernizing the tech stack with the latest Angular and .NET frameworks. You'll also have opportunities for growth in both technical expertise, leadership, and financial industry knowledge.</p><p>Please note that this role is hybrid with a requirement of 3 days a week in the Melbourne CBD office.</p><p><strong>Your Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>7+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer building and running distributed applications and services</li><li>Great general programming skill and ability to create robust, decoupled, modular programming interfaces and designs</li><li>Primarily object-oriented design and coding with the ability to think and program in functional-style as well</li><li>Multithreaded, asynchronous programming</li><li>Database design work in relational databases in Postgres, SQL server and Azure</li><li>Write efficient, clean, and testable code using .NET, TypeScript, and XUnit or NUnit.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>You have exceptional technical know-how and a real passion for the end-to-end solutions that drive the user experience and customer happiness.
