As part of the recruitment services we provide to you and in order to assess your qualifications, experiences and suitability for employment the Robert Half affiliate (Hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our” or “Robert Half”) in the country you are seeking employment, might ask you to take one or more assessments provided by our selected service provider SHL US LLC, 111 Washington Avenue S, Suite 500, Minneapolis MN 55401, USA (Hereinafter “SHL”). In order to administer these assessments, Robert Half, as the data controller, will be required to process and share your first name, last name, email address, country and preferred language (collectively your “Personal Data”) with SHL (as our processor) in accordance with the restrictions imposed by law. Your Personal Data shared with SHL will be stored within the European Union. .Additionally, your Personal Data is transferred to the United States, India, South Africa and United Kingdom (“SHL Non EEA Processing Locations”) where a limited number of personnel in SHL Non EEA Processing Locations, as well as trusted third party vendors and service providers, have access to Personal Data solely in order to provide services. Taking an assessment is voluntary and your refusal to take an assessment provided by SHL will not negatively impact your job opportunities with Robert Half. If Robert Half is issuing the assessment on the request of the client as part of their onboarding process, we will inform the client of your refusal to take the assessment in which case the client will decide on the consequence of your refusal. SHL provides two different form of assessments on our behalf: General assessments. When taking these assessments SHL collects your name, email address, language preferences and the answer to the assessment questions. •  For assessments created by Robert Half, the general assessment results are expressed in a percentage of what you scored on the assessment; •  SHL general assessments generate numerical values derived by comparing your answers against benchmarks for the competency or task being measured. The numerical values are then passed through a computational model, which weighs and combines the designated numerical values to generate results, Language assessments, which include audio assessments. When taking these assessments SHL collects your name, email address, language preferences and an audio recording of yourself as you speak or respond to questions, a transcription of your audio responses into text format and your answers to the assessment questions. Robert Half receives your assessment scores in the form of a assessment report. We do not use automated decision-making. Our recruitment consultants review your assessment results alongside other criteria, such as your qualifications and experiences, the requirements for the role, discussions they had with you and other relevant criteria to determine your suitability for the specific job opportunity. After you have taken the assessment our consultants will discuss the results with you. You can request a copy of your assessment report at any time by contacting your Branch contact person. If you are not happy with the results of the assessment, you can ask us to re-take the assessment. If the assessment was issued upon the request of the client as part of their onboarding process we will always provide your assessment results (both your percentage as the benchmark data) and/or the assessment report with the client. In all other cases, we will only do so if you have consented to this. If you have questions on the nature of the assessment we have issued to you, please contact your Branch contact person. You can ask us, at any time, to delete your assessment results by contacting your Branch contact person. Please note that, if you apply again after your assessment results have been deleted, you might be requested to re-take the assessment.
