In this role you will be responsible for the following duties: <ul style="direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed; margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;" type="disc"><li>HR Compliance & Employment Law: Reviewing current HR practices, identifying areas of risk and ensuring the business is compliant with UK employment legislation, with a particular focus on resolving existing issues by January.</li><li>Employee Consultations: Leading and supporting employee consultation processes, including sitting down with employees, managing potentially sensitive conversations and ensuring the correct procedures are followed.</li><li>Contracts, Policies & Handbook: Reviewing and updating employment contracts, the employee handbook and HR policies to ensure they are appropriate, consistent and legally compliant.</li><li>Payroll & Holiday Pay: Supporting the resolution of historical holiday pay issues and understanding the complexities of payroll within a field-based services business, where working arrangements and pay calculations can differ.</li><li>Merit Cycle: Providing support through the recently launched merit review cycle and ensuring the business is supported through the process.</li><li>HR Systems & Data: Navigating the complexities of a US-led HR structure, including the recent Workday implementation, ADP payroll arrangements and challenges around employee data transfers between the UK and US.</li><li>Benefits: Working alongside Lockton, who are currently supporting the business with employee benefits.</li><li>General HR Support: Acting as a trusted, hands-on HR partner to the UK leadership team, providing practical advice and support across wider employee relations and operational HR matters.</li></ul> Profile:The successful temporary, HR consultant will have worked in services/field work previously, and have experience working in complex matrixed organisations. You will be responsible for following duties:<ul><li>Be the key contact person for external payroll providers, HR and Finance Department, responsible for the monthly end to end payroll process for the assigned countries.</li><li>Process payroll information from Workday to Cloudpay (Integration validation and input information via template).</li><li>Managing new joiners and terminations.</li><li>Review reports and liaise with internal partners to ensure the data/all changes are accurate and complete.</li><li>Ensure all employees are accurately recorded in Workday.</li><li>Post reconciliation, provide approval to third party payroll providers.</li><li>Total payroll (earnings, voluntary and mandatory deductions) will be provided to Finance and Accountants for verification to General Ledger.</li><li>Ensure all legal, social and pension obligations are handled in a timely and appropriate manner.</li><li>Respond to employee enquiries in a pro-active and courteous manner.</li><li>Managing the year end processes.</li><li>Managing risk within your role.
