This role will be central to enhancing and standardising finance processes through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with best practice.<h3 data-end="1110" data-start="1084">Key Responsibilities</h3><ul data-end="1753" data-start="1111"><li data-end="1218" data-start="1111">Act as the subject matter expert for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations within the finance function.</li><li data-end="1313" data-start="1219">Lead on finance process mapping and the creation of a structured process taxonomy.</li><li data-start="1314" data-end="1389">Standardise, maintain, and continuously improve core finance processes.</li><li data-start="1390" data-end="1492">Facilitate and run workshops with stakeholders to capture requirements and drive improvements.</li><li data-end="1581" data-start="1493">Utilise Visio and other tools to document and communicate processes effectively.</li><li data-start="1582" data-end="1671">Support day-to-day finance processing and provide solutions to system/process issues.</li><li data-start="1672" data-end="1753">Deliver training and guidance to finance users to embed process improvements.</li></ul><h3 data-end="1783" data-start="1755">Candidate Requirements</h3><ul data-start="1784" data-end="2273"><li data-start="1784" data-end="1905">Proven experience in finance processing with strong systems knowledge, ideally D365 Finance & Operations (or AX).</li><li data-start="1906" data-end="2003">Demonstrable expertise in process taxonomy, process mapping, and process standardisation.</li><li data-start="2004" data-end="2074">Skilled in Visio (or similar tools) for process documentation.</li><li data-end="2159" data-start="2075">Experience running workshops and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.</li><li data-end="2225" data-start="2160">Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li data-start="2226" data-end="2273">Finance or accounting background desirable.</li></ul><h3 data-start="2275" data-end="2286">Offer</h3><ul data-start="2287" data-end="2553"><li data-end="2324" data-start="2287">18-month contract (permanent opportunities also likely thereafter). </li><li data-end="2398" data-start="2325">Hybrid working - Cardiff base with flexible working arrangements.</li><li data-start="2399" data-end="2444">Opportunity to play a key role in shaping and optimising finance processes for a respected organisation</li></ul><h3 data-start="660" data-end="698">About Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O:</h3>Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) is a cloud-based ERP solution that unifies finance, operations, and supply chain processes on a single platform.
