<p><strong>Management Accountant</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Leeds / Hybrid - 3 days in the office</p><p><strong>Salary & Benefits:</strong> £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + study support</p><p> </p><p>Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing business based on the outskirts of Leeds. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you'll take full ownership of the management accounts process and provide high-quality financial insight to support strategic decision-making.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p>As Management Accountant, you will:</p><ul><li>Take full ownership of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis.</li><li>Manage prepayments, accruals, and ensure robust balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Maintain the fixed asset register and monitor capital expenditure.</li><li>Deliver accurate project reporting, ROI analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting cycles.</li><li>Assist with VAT returns, payroll calculations, and commissions.</li><li>Support audits, compliance, and drive process improvements across finance.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>The Ideal Candidate</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of management accounting, prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets.</li><li>Proven experience in variance analysis, project accounting, and financial modelling.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across departments.</li><li>Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>£40,000 - £45,000</li><li>Study support</li><li>Annual Bonus</li><li>Hybrid working (3 days in the office)</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
