Junior IT Support Engineer Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading asset manager organisation to recruit a Junior IT Support Engineer on a 12 month contract basis - London based Role<ul><li>The Junior IT Support Engineer will provide white-glove IT support to internal users, ensuring a high-quality and professional experience.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues primarily in a Windows-based environment.</li><li>Support desktop and laptop configurations, installations, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.</li><li>Assist with IT on boarding and off boarding, including setting up new user devices and accounts.</li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot conferencing and collaboration tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and VPN solutions.</li><li>Work closely with senior IT staff and escalate complex issues as needed.</li><li>Document IT issues and resolutions in the ticketing system to improve troubleshooting processes.</li><li>Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, software deployments, and security improvements.</li></ul>Profile<ul><li>The Junior IT Support Engineer will ideally have c1-3 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a corporate environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.</li><li>Experience with hardware troubleshooting, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.</li><li>Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional end-user support.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.</li><li>Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or ITIL Foundation are a plus.</li></ul>Company<ul><li>Market leading real estate organisation with offices in London</li><li>on-site required </li></ul>Salary & BenefitsThe salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
