- <p>Our client are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term basis to support the business through an important period of change.</p><p>This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified Accountant looking to step into a more commercially focused role, with real exposure to senior stakeholders across the operation.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>Sitting within a small, close-knit finance team, you'll take ownership of:</p><ul><li>Acting as a true Finance Business Partner to operational stakeholders</li><li>Supporting and challenging business units on performance, cost control and opportunities</li><li>Production of monthly management accounts</li><li>Providing insightful analysis to aid decision-making</li><li>Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes</li><li>Supporting the business through ongoing systems change</li></ul><p>While there is a technical element (month-end), the focus is very much on commercial value-add and stakeholder engagement.</p><p><strong>The Person</strong></p><p>This role is ideally suited to someone who:</p><ul><li>Is fully qualified (ICAS / ACCA / CIMA)</li><li>Comes from an Accounting background but is eager to step up into a more commercial role</li><li>Is confident engaging with stakeholders and can challenge and add value</li><li>Can move beyond pure reporting and bring ideas, insight and commercial thinking</li><li>Is keen to be visible in the business and build relationships on-site</li><li>You don't need to be a polished FBP already-but you must have the potential and appetite to develop into one.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Details</strong></p><ul><li>12-month FTC Target start date ASAP (flexible, but ideally before end of August)</li><li>Salary: £55,000 - £60,000</li><li>Location: Glasgow</li><li>Working pattern: Ideally 4 days on site (flex to 3 for the right individual)</li></ul><p><strong>Why Apply?</strong></p><p>Genuine step into a Finance Business Partnering role Opportunity to work closely with an experienced leadership team Strong platform to build commercial finance experience</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
