The successful candidate will combine strong BA fundamentals with experience working in investment or fund operations settings.</p><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Review and document operational processes, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, or strengthen control points.</li><li>Partner with investment, operations, risk, and technology teams to capture business requirements and translate them into clear deliverables.</li><li>Support workflow redesign and operational change across areas such as trade support, cash and position control, reconciliations oversight, and reporting workflows (kept high‑level intentionally to avoid identifiable detail).</li><li>Produce concise artefacts including process maps, requirement definitions, and implementation supporting materials.</li><li>Contribute to testing cycles (UAT) and readiness assessments for new tools, processes, or enhancements.</li><li>Help embed a culture of continuous improvement across investment operations.</li></ul><h2><strong>Experience & Skills</strong></h2><h3><strong>Essential</strong></h3><ul><li>Experience as a Business Analyst within investment management, fund operations, or a similar financial services environment.</li><li>Understanding of investment operations processes (e.g., trade support, middle‑office controls, reconciliations, reporting, data quality) without tying to any specific firm model.</li><li>Strong documentation skills with the ability to distil complex processes into clear, actionable outputs.</li><li>Confident working across technology and business teams to drive operational change.</li><li>Highly organised, structured, and detail oriented.</li><li>Experience delivering a Target Operating Model.</li></ul><h3><strong>Desirable</strong></h3><ul><li>Exposure to workflow or project management tools.</li><li>Experience supporting operational process redesign within regulated financial environments.</li><li>Understanding of data quality, operational oversight, or investment governance frameworks.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
