  • <p>Robert Half Finance &amp; Accounting are partnering with a luxury Retail Company in London to recruit an immediate, Interim Management Accountant for 2 months.</p><p><strong>Role:</strong></p><p>Our client is looking for an immediate, interim Management Accountant for 2 months. You be will be responsible for following duties:</p><ul><li>Preparation of monthly management accounts (p&amp;l and balance sheet) with commentary on a timely basis.</li><li>Ensure key reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis (e.g. fixed assets, accruals, stock etc.).</li><li>Ensure all month end journals and processes under remit are accurately calculated and posted within the agreed timetable, ultimately ensuring accuracy of the books (by nominal account and cost centre).</li><li>Investigate all material variances, proactively highlighting the impact these have on the business.</li><li>Business partner with assigned department heads, maintaining central control and management of department spend, reporting variances to agreed budget.</li><li>Accruals posting - posting accruals in relation to finance and IT spend.</li><li>Preparation of indirect cash flow</li><li>Bank Postings ensuring any reconciling items are cleared ASAP</li><li style="display: inline !important;">Download stock reports from SAP on a weekly basis for circulation to the business.</li><li>Assist Finance Controller to oversee the stock count process in partnership with Retail and Logistics, calculating and reporting stock losses.</li><li>Review and reporting of stock balances, write offs and provisions on a monthly basis.</li><li>Ensure overall integrity of the cost value for stock lines and cost prices used in margin calculations.</li><li>Work with merchandising to ensure seasonal stock is correctly moved through life cycle and provided for appropriately</li><li>Prepare monthly pack for the board on stock</li></ul><p><strong>Profile:</strong></p><p>The successful Interim Management Accountant will either be a finalist or part qualified.</p><p>You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.</p><p><strong>Client:</strong></p><p>Our client are a luxury Retail Company based in London.
