This is a highly visible role, providing strategic support and commercial analysis to ensure profitable decision-making across the business.</p><p data-end="802" data-start="771">Key responsibilities include:</p><ul data-start="803" data-end="1459"><li data-start="803" data-end="914"><p data-end="914" data-start="805">Acting as a trusted partner to business development, product management, operations, and engineering teams.</p></li><li data-start="915" data-end="1018"><p data-start="917" data-end="1018">Providing robust financial analysis to support pricing, bids, contracts, and product profitability.</p></li><li data-end="1092" data-start="1019"><p data-start="1021" data-end="1092">Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.</p></li><li data-start="1093" data-end="1221"><p data-end="1221" data-start="1095">Conducting detailed margin, customer, and product profitability analysis, identifying key drivers and areas for improvement.</p></li><li data-start="1222" data-end="1306"><p data-start="1224" data-end="1306">Supporting year-end processes, cost audits, and liaising with external auditors.</p></li><li data-end="1410" data-start="1307"><p data-start="1309" data-end="1410">Driving process improvement and system enhancements to strengthen financial controls and reporting.</p></li><li data-start="1411" data-end="1459"><p data-end="1459" data-start="1413">Supervising and mentoring a cost accountant.</p></li></ul><h3 data-end="1480" data-start="1461">The Candidate</h3><p data-end="1687" data-start="1481">We are seeking a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 7-10 years of post-qualification experience in a commercially focused role.
