Business situation
Our client is a clinical services provider with hundreds of practices across the UK, all supported for back-office processes by one central hub. Robert Half has supported hundreds of vacancies over the past decade. This has included routine and project hiring, such as a campaign to hire 30 management accountants across multiple teams.
Our approach
We hosted three assessment days at our office where our client could meet pre-screened candidates selected by us.
These included group assessment sessions, presentations by hiring managers, and 'speed dating' style interviews where hiring managers met a selection of candidates.
At the end of each assessment day, we discussed feedback with the hiring team and offers were made to selected candidates that day.
Our client placed high importance on personality and culture fit, while also seeking to hire within fixed salary bands. As this narrowed the candidate pool, we worked closely with our client (and candidates) to discuss market conditions, manage expectations, and identify appropriate applicants.
Value delivered
The success of this campaign led to us being selected as exclusive finance provider for more than 18 months.
During this time, we supported the expansion of the Finance team from 50 to around 200 people, across temporary and permanent roles.
Our close engagement with both our client and candidates ensured a significantly-reduced drop-out rate, and we received overall positive feedback.
Our exclusive arrangement ended on good terms when a new internal recruitment team was implemented. We continued to work with the organisation as part of their overall recruitment strategy, providing support for specialist or hard-to-fill roles where required.
