Q: Are your laptops and virtual workspaces secure?

Yes, our company-issued laptops and virtual workspaces have enterprise security tools and are backed by Robert Half’s Security Operations Center, which includes 24x7 monitoring supported by world-class threat intelligence for rapid response to security-related events. Q: What happens with a candidate’s virtual workspace and loaner device once their job ends?

When a candidate’s job ends, please promptly notify your local Robert Half talent solutions professional. We’ll immediately begin deleting their virtual workspace and all its components. We’ll also provide the candidate with instructions for returning the loaner device to our office.

Time Reports and Payroll

Q: I never received my login information to approve time reports. Who should I contact?

First, check your email. You should have received an auto-generated email from [email protected] with your login credentials. If you did not receive the email, please contact Customer Experience Center to request new login credentials: [email protected] or 1.877.548.6964.

Q: How do I approve online time reports?

Go to the login page and click Awaiting Approval. If there are multiple time reports to approve, a list will be displayed. Click Workweek End Date to the open the time report. Review the time report and click Approve as Submitted.

Q: How do I view past time reports?

Time reports from the last 12 months are available. To view past time reports, log in to your online profile. Click MyDashboard, enter your Username and Password and click Sign In. Click Time Report History on your homepage to access past time reports.

Microsoft Teams Help

Q: How do I join a Microsoft Teams meeting from a Windows PC?

Follow these steps to join a Microsoft Teams meeting on your Windows PC:

1. Choose how you want to join

Click the meeting URL in the email we sent, or log in to your account and click “Join Meeting” on the Job Details page. You’ll then see options for joining the meeting.

  • If you don’t have the Teams app installed on your PC, join through your browser by clicking “Continue on this browser”.
  • If you have the Teams app installed on your PC, click “Open Teams (work or school)”.

2. Check your audio and video settings

Before joining the meeting, check your audio and video settings.

To use your internal mic, speaker and video camera:

  1. Make sure “Computer audio” is selected in the upper-right of the screen shown in the image below.
  2. Click the toggle switch (in the bottom-left) to turn on your video camera
  3. Click “Join now” when you’re ready to join the meeting.

To use an external mic, speaker or video camera:

  1. Click the Gear icon shown below, in the lower-middle of the screen.
  2. Choose “Custom Setup” on the right to open the “Device settings” panel.
  3. Select the speaker, microphone and video devices you want to use from the dropdown menus.
  4. Close the “Device settings” panel by clicking “X” at the top of the panel.
  5. Click “Join now” when you’re ready to join the meeting (see image above).

Q: How do I join a Microsoft Teams meeting from a Mac?

Follow these steps to join a Microsoft Teams meeting on your Mac:

1. Joining the meeting

To join a meeting, click the meeting URL in the email we sent, or log in to your account and click “Join Meeting” on the Job Details page.

  • If you don’t have the Teams app installed on your Mac, join the meeting through your browser by choosing “Open Microsoft Teams” in the dialog box at the top. (If your browser is Safari, Microsoft recommends version 14 or higher. Make sure Safari is up to date before the meeting starts.)
  • If you have the Teams app installed on your Mac, click “Open your Teams app” in the lower-right of the screen.

2. Check your audio and video settings

Before joining the meeting, check your microphone and camera settings by choosing “Devices” underneath the “Join now” button.

  1. Select your Mac’s internal microphone from the dropdown menu if it’s not already the default.
  2. Choose the camera you want to use, either your Mac’s internal device or an external camera.
  3. When your device settings are correct, click “Join now” to continue.

3. Allow Teams to access your camera and microphone

After you click “Join meeting,” a pop-up asks if you want to allow Teams to access your microphone and camera. Click “Allow” to start the meeting.
