<p><strong>Required Attributes</strong> </p><ul><li>Undergraduate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. </li><li>10+ years of experience in Software development of complex applications using Java.  </li><li>Related domain experience in Geosciences is required. </li><li>Excellent understanding of design principles, considerations, and best practices. </li><li>History of applying best practices, code reviews and quality checks. </li><li>Familiarity with build pipeline tools and technologies such as Gitlab </li><li>Must be self-motivated but needs to work well in a team environment </li><li>Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills </li><li>Self-Starter; willing to learn new technologies, ability to learn fast </li><li>Thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys tackling challenges with cross-functional teams. </li><li>Leadership Experience: </li><li>Proven experience leading or supervising a team of software developers.  </li><li>Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical talent within an Agile environment.  </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, delegate tasks, and meet delivery timelines.  </li><li>Skilled in facilitating collaboration and maintaining team cohesion across cross-functional groups.  </li><li>Effective communicator with experience engaging product owners, stakeholders, and technical peers.  </li></ul><p><strong>Desirable Attributes</strong> </p><ul><li>Experience in Geophysics and/or Geology domain especially Oil and Gas </li><li>Knowledge of Eclipse RCP and Eclipse OSGi </li><li>Agile Scrum certification </li><li>Proficiency with development tools and environments:   </li><li>Swing and SWT experience </li><li>Understanding of Machine Learning technologies (Python, TensorFlow etc.) </li><li>C++ development experience is a benefit </li><li>Advanced awareness and understanding of AI technologies/tools </li><li>Familiarity and understanding of modern cloud technologies and microservices </li></ul><p><br></p>
