<p>On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a skilled <strong>Data Scientist</strong> with a strong background in Python and a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights. This role is ideal for someone with at least <strong>3 years of experience</strong> in a data science role, preferably within the <strong>industrial or energy</strong> sector. This Data Scientist contract opportunity is being offered on a remote basis through to the end of 2025, with potential to extend.</p><p><br></p><p>You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, develop predictive models, and help drive data-informed decision-making. Experience with <strong>Databricks</strong> is considered a strong asset.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to extract meaningful insights.</li><li>Build, test, and deploy predictive models using Python-based machine learning libraries.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.</li><li>Develop data pipelines and workflows, ideally within Databricks.</li><li>Present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li></ul>
<p>Are you an experienced software engineer specializing in machine learning and working with large data sets? This is an opportunity to apply your machine learning and statistical analysis experience and work as part of an experienced software development team.
