Controller<p>Our client is on the lookout for a Controller to join our team in South-West Ottawa, Ontario. In this role, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including managing financial reporting and compliance, overseeing day-to-day activities related to inventory, payroll, and asset management, as well as leading the accounts receivable and payable departments.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Oversee and enhance internal controls for accurate financial reporting and adherence to regulatory requirements</p><p>• Direct daily operations concerning inventory, payroll, and asset management</p><p>• Develop efficient, documented work-flow processes and accounting policies</p><p>• Collaborate cross-functionally to offer financial insights and support strategic initiatives</p><p>• Guide and assist the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments</p><p>• Lead the year-end review process</p><p>• Assist in the creation of tax schedules</p><p>• Perform reconciliation and posting of journal entries</p><p>• Support Month End and Year End closing procedures</p><p>• Review and renew insurance policies</p><p>• Utilize various skills such as 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Crystal Reports, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Budget Processes.</p>
