Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will assist in a wide variety of year-end duties, ensuring compliance with accounting guidelines and standards and provincial reporting requirements. The Financial Analyst’s duties will include: · Preparing month-end journal entries across hospital sites, including prepaid expense reconciliations, funding allocations, capital assets updates, monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and expense accruals, and intercompany transactions.· Creating and reviewing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and identifying root causes of variances.· Supporting annual accounting processes, finance projects, and audits to ensure smooth operations.· Supporting year-end audit· Creating detailed financial and statistical reports to inform leadership decision-making.· Other duties as required
