  • <p>Our client is on the search for a <strong>bilingual Receptionist</strong> to support the day-to-day front desk operations of a not-for-profit organization in Kanata, Ontario. This Contract position is ideal for someone with at least three years of experience in a fast-paced setting who can communicate effectively, manage competing priorities, and create a welcoming experience for visitors and callers. The successful candidate will combine strong administrative ability with confidence using office software and digital tools to keep reception services organized and efficient.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Welcome visitors in a courteous and attentive manner and serve as the first point of contact at the front desk.</p><p>• Respond to incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, direct inquiries appropriately, and ensure messages are relayed accurately.</p><p>• Assess incoming requests and route clients, visitors, or calls to the appropriate team member based on urgency and need.</p><p>• Coordinate and confirm appointments, maintain calendars, and support smooth daily scheduling activities.</p><p>• Enter and update information in internal software systems with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.</p><p>• Prepare and manage email correspondence, documents, and general administrative records using standard office applications.</p><p>• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems to support efficient retrieval of information.</p><p>• Provide dependable customer service by addressing general questions promptly and effectively in both official languages where required.</p>
