<p>We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a diverse workforce across multiple locations in Ontario, ensuring compliance with all regulations. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work independently while contributing to a dynamic and growing organization.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 300 employees, including both hourly and salaried staff.</p><p>• Manage payroll operations across multiple companies and locations, utilizing systems such as ADP, Wagepoint 2.0, Dayforce, and Seven Shifts.</p><p>• Import and verify reports, ensuring data accuracy and balancing records before finalizing payroll.</p><p>• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions with clear communication and professionalism.</p><p>• Identify and implement necessary changes to payroll processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.</p><p>• Take full ownership of the payroll function, working independently to meet deadlines and resolve issues.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll regulations and tax requirements.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate employee records and payroll data.</p>
