You will work closely with engineering, maintenance, operations, contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and execute strategic plans for capital, infrastructure, and major expense projects.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the engineering team.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and direction to project and maintenance engineers and technologists throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Oversee projects from initial planning through completion, ensuring they remain on schedule and within budget.</li><li>Establish clear expectations for contractors related to safety, cost, quality, and performance.</li><li>Lead capital project and major maintenance planning and coordination.</li><li>Develop and maintain the site’s 5-year and 10-year capital and major maintenance plans.</li><li>Provide direction regarding the site’s approach to fixed asset inspection and maintenance.</li><li>Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, insurance providers, and other external stakeholders.</li><li>Support initiatives focused on safety, productivity, environmental performance, quality, and cost improvement.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, asset reliability, and overall site performance.</li></ul>
